Layla’s room is close to being done – I just need to fix her dresser now… But until then, we can appreciate the prettiness of everything above the dresser! And of course once I finally got the pictures up on the wall, we had another round of musical bedrooms, with Zak now camped out on her bedroom floor on a mattress… So maybe he’ll get tired of all theĀ girliness and crave the blue of his own room, “tickles and monsters” and all… Here’s hoping – otherwise the thousands we spent creating their own rooms might just have been a big fat waste of money! doh!

I am thinking of doing a similar thing in my daughter’s room. So glad to see it already done and looking so lovely. Thank you.
Love the picture wall – the Belle and Boo prints look lovely. I’d like to do something like this for my daughter when she gets older.
just gorgeous! I love the lamp!
OMG this is sooooooooooo amazing!!! I love it. I bet your little girl is twice as gorgeous as the room is
Have a great week dear,
Dana
Layla’s room look so…. sweet and beautiful.
Love it.
B – KO here – love her room
Where did you get that grey frame on the far left? the big one?
xx
thank you all!
lovely ms oliver, the frame is an old one from goodness knows where i painted with porter’s paints donkey grey – my fave neutral colour for walls. the other grey is the same deal. i often buy a picture frame for the detail and then paint over the actual frame with whatever colour i’m feeling at the time! xxx
clever. thanks x
B you are constantly inspiring me and driving me to do more in my own home:) Will have to take a pic of one of my girls dressers, which also has a bit of Belle & Boo. Love the Porter’s donkey grey!
Sleep! argh!!!!! my older two (6 and 4) are now sharing a large room. We are very much thinking of work to make 2 rooms as the mucking around upstairs is driving us crazy, not to mention keeping the 20mth old awake.
You could try a box decorated during the day as a bed for a favourite toy, and have him go through the night time ritual with the toy before bed. Then you can remind Zac that he needs to be quiet as Xtoy is sleeping. “See, toy has gone to sleep so there can’t be any scary monsters…” Might change the dynamic a bit and fingers crossed, you never know…. ps, after about 9.30pm and if it’s been happening a few nights in a row, I don’t think a measured dose of panadol to help him settle is out of the question.
Good Luck!
Love the muted tones! So tranquil and gorgeous. : )
beautiful belinda – but where are we putting the vintage poster?!!! really great. i love me a picture wall, lucky little layla. x
