style spy: my place on flossie

flossie

Psst, snippets of my home are featured on Flossie today, including this dresser which since my interview for the site now looks like this (below) courtesy of Layla, her busy hands and my obviously shoddy job at glueing it down (hint: use proper wallpaper paste next time). So, it’s in desperate need of a fresh new look. You may have heard my disappointed ”noooooooo” when I saw her ripping a piece off - I loved these drawers… But, I’m all for mixing it up, so happy to give it a new look.

I’m going to be stencilling it and using what’s left of the paper for another project – I don’t like to waste! I’m hoping to start and finish this new project this long weekend, so stay tuned for project tuesday for a before/after. Here’s hoping I finish it anyway – I’m so good at making plans to do something on a weekend and then not doing them!

Anyway, back to Flossie – you can read the interview right here

Hahahahaha!!! Too cute and funny. Poor dressing table. Nevermind I am sure you will have it looking brand new in no time :)

I love your dresser – what a great idea! And now I can’t believe you’re changing it again but I will be very interested to see what you come up with. (BTW when you wallpapered it, did you spend a lot of time preparing it first ie sanding it down etc?).

I love your honesty. I’m sure you’ll dream up something even more beautiful, although I loved the original work you did.

I went and saw your profile over at Flossie, and have to say – you’re stunning. :)

I am going to be over at Flossie every month or so too, when I can get my butt into gear. x
